I'm finally up and running with my Etsy shop! I am offering items I have found and renewed or repurposed in my studio as well as vintage finds.
The name Rosy Peony incorporates my Mother's favorite flower, roses, and mine, peonies. After eight years of sharing our home, my Mother passed away in 2010 at the age of 98. In her former reading room-turned-studio, I find myself inspired by reminders of her - her knick-knacks, as well as items created for her by others.
William Morris said, “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” Everything I sell on Etsy is something I would like to keep for myself, and hopefully others will find them useful or beautiful, or both.
